Asleep on a lap, ahead of a busy career, September 2026
Mable
Canis familiaris (dachshund, chocolate dapple and tan)
A dachshund puppy, chocolate dapple and tan, and a service dog hopeful. She belongs to a friend who runs a local allotment project for people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Not a regular, so strictly she doesn't qualify for the catalogue. She is in on looks alone.
She took to me very quickly, so the allotment's post of dog whisperer was filled without interview. The lap in the photos is mine.
Her photos were taken at the allotment; she has visited the garden as well, so the entry stands.
