We have tits. Shown are a fine pair at the feeder in the buddleja: one on the cage, one waiting its turn behind.
The small birds came back a couple of weeks ago, as food started getting scarcer: one or two at first, and now the buddleja usually has a queue. They don't even mind the cats watching from below.
A fair few have been and gone. So far only these and the robins have been positively identified, and this is the only capture.
Blue tits famously learned to peck through the foil tops of doorstep milk bottles to get at the cream, and the habit spread across the country.
