Many sightings, some evidence
Thirteen of the garden's regulars go on record, with identifications that range from confident to hopeful.

The garden has had plenty of wildlife all year. What it hasn't had is paperwork. A dig through this year's photos has put thirteen of the regulars on record, with identifications that range from confident to hopeful.
On the wing: a bumblebee working a dahlia, most likely a buff-tailed; a holly blue resting with its wings shut; and an ichneumon wasp that landed on a hand in the rain and stayed for a photo. Two moths as well: a likely elder pearl under a raspberry leaf, and a red-belted clearwing on the greenhouse cover, doing a fair impression of a wasp.
On the fences: a woodpigeon, one of a bonded pair who turned up when the first pond went in and never really left; and a magpie, from the mischief that lives nearby and has opinions about us going outside.
At the feeder in the buddleja: blue tits, a fine pair, and the only small birds caught on camera so far. The robins are confirmed and unphotographed.
In the pond: lesser water boatmen, hauled out in a crowd; mosquito larvae, hanging about under the surface; and, in one of Kirsty's photos, what looks like a dragonfly part-way out on the rim of a planting pot. There is something small and green in the same picture. Neither of us knows what either is, so they share an entry until one of them gets a name.
In the grass: the snails, who are very, very regular visitors.
The Hogs have photos at last, both from the spring. Since then: many confirmed sightings, no evidence.
They all live under Wildlife & habitats, which is the old Habitats tab with the wild creatures moved in. Anything marked βlikelyβ is exactly that, and will be put right as we find out.
