Rose 'Everglow Ruby' or 'Amirose' (best guess)

Rosa 'Everglow Ruby' or 'Amirose' (tbc)

A small rose grown from bare root, most likely 'Everglow Ruby' or 'Amirose'. Still in its pot, waiting for a permanent spot; the fresh new shoots are a good sign.

The red-tinged, mottled older leaves are common on stressed roses, and a few may be showing black spot, so pick off and bin any spotty leaves (not on the compost heap). Plan: clear the dead leaves and debris off the surface, trim out any dead or crossing stems, then pot it on into fresh compost (or plant it out) with a handful of rose feed in spring.
