Snails, a bully and a beetle
Three more for the wildlife records: two snails, one great tit with no manners, and something very red in the thuja.

The water snails are on record at last: a ramshorn and a great pond snail, both from the larger end of the pond's staff. One of them held still.
A great tit has joined the feeder queue by ignoring it. It was photographed, technically. A drawing stands in until a better one turns up.
And whilst pruning the thuja: a scarlet lily beetle, very red and in no mood to pose. It doesn't eat thuja. In October it is most likely looking for somewhere to spend the winter.
What surprises me is how many of them there are. Now the garden is turning from flat grass into an actual garden, there are pretty beetles and flying insects everywhere I look. Presumably they were waiting for something worth turning up for.
