A morning pond tidy-up
Blanketweed, fallen leaves and a chance for the stowaways to return.
Cleared the blanketweed and fallen leaves from the pond this morning, with help from the removal stick.
The collected material is piled beside the pond for now, giving any creatures inadvertently brought out with it a chance to make their way back into the water. It will go into the compost later.
Also took some updated photos of the water soldiers beneath the surface.
